How and why we collect personal information?

  • Investors: CFSG retains a number of service providers for custodian, registry and administration services. These service providers collect personal information about investors on behalf of CFSG.
  • Business contacts: Often CFSG is required to collect personal information from people it does business with. Usually this happens when we collect the name and business contact details of a person who is the contact in a government agency or company we deal with, or in one of our contractors or suppliers.

Do I have the right to check what personal information is held by CFSG?

Under the Australian Privacy Act, you have the right to obtain a copy of any personal information which CFSG holds about you and to advise CFSG of any perceived inaccuracy.

CFSG may ask you to pay its reasonable costs of responding to your request. We will acknowledge your request within 14 days and respond promptly to it.

Website Collection of Personal and Non-Personal Information

Google Analytics website measurement software may be used to assist in tracking traffic patterns to and from CFSG websites, anonymously surveying users of the sites. The Google Analytics system is used to collect such information as the number of unique visitors, how long these visitors spend on the website when they do visit, and common entry and exit points into and from the website.

This non-personal information is collected and aggregated by Google and can be provided to us to assist in our analysis of our websites. You cannot be identified personally from this information and no personal information is stored about you.
